Crop strategy for success
We mean business. We have a diversified crop strategy that's aligned with market demands to ensure a robust and sustainable farm revenue.
Stability, profitability and diversity
Bread basket refers to oil and flour. Our target crops are versatile, with options to cater to both the fresh market and an extensive array of processed products. We have strategically chosen crops with different growing cycles: For the initial 2-3 years, we will start with oil crops for long-term stability. Products will be supplied to the ready US market, and subsequently exported internationally to Asia (via and include Singapore).
No matter how experienced we are, we exercise prudence to always do crop trials before planting.
Potatoes
Winter [Medium-term, 100 days]
Ranked first among non-grains, potatoes are the world's 4th most important crop after rice, wheat and maize.
An optimal staple for people as it contains the rich nutrient content which our body needs - Vitamin C, B6, iron, potassium, phytochemicals and antioxidants, carbohydrates, protein and fibre, yet is low in calories, cholesterol and free of gluten.
The great potato shortage since 2020 will continue past 2024 due to bad weather: All potato production in 2022 totalled 399 million cwt, is down 3% from the 2021 crop per USDA report.

100 days potato research trial completed on 7 commercial potato varieties with University of Arizona from March to May 2023.

Olive
Perennial [Long-term, 3.5 years onwards]
Olive oil is a kitchen staple that has been hailed for its health-boosting effects and great flavour for centuries. In 2023, the global consumption volume of olive oil was at 2.6 million metric tons and its price more than doubled since 2018 due to production shortage.
Olive oil fraud such as mixing and mislabeling cases also hit record high as price of olive oil spikes. It is increasingly hard to get good pure olive oil from our supermarket shelves. Bringing back pure olive oil and its goodness for people is the key reason why we are growing them.
Argan
Perennial [Long-term, from 3.5 - 7 years onwards]
One of the world's most expensive edible oils, priced at approximately USD 200-500 per litre, Argan owes its value to its unique properties and limited supply. This exclusive oil is solely and uniquely found in Morocco, yet the old argan trees are depleting.
Argan trees boast a remarkably long productive lifespan of over 100 years, demanding minimal maintenance after the initial five years of growth. Recognising these factors, we possess the suitable conditions and expertise to establish the largest commercial Argan farm in Yuma.
